Typically, commercials in the German OTC market are very conservative and shy away from humour or unusual stylistic choices. In order to ensure that hay fever spray, MometaHEXAL, a newcomer to the market, would stand out we took the spot in a more unconventional direction.

It uses bold imagery and surreal humour to express the joy that hay fever sufferers experience once they are able to finally enjoy nature, thanks to MometaHEXAL.

The direction proved to be highly successful, as the product went from new and unknown to becoming Germany’s market leader in nasal sprays.

Through it’s uniqueness and successful influence on sales, the spot was able to  amass a number of industry awards, including the GWA EFFIE Efficiency Award and the NYF Global Awards.
